Churchill Contract Services has, for the first time, been ranked as one of the UK’s largest mid-market growth companies.
Today, the business announced it has been positioned 215th in this year’s Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250, its debut appearance in the rankings, having been previously highlighted as ‘one to watch’ in 2013. It is the only soft multi-service solutions business to be featured in this year’s rankings.
Approaching its 25th year, Churchill is one of the largest independently-owned service solutions organisations in the UK, offering cleaning, catering, security, compliance, maintenance and specialist solutions including a ‘make ready’ service for emergency vehicles. Churchill’s team numbers in excess of 12,000 people and has a Group turnover exceeding £145m.
The ranking comes following a strong year of growth for Churchill with new contracts including London South Bank University, the Port of Dover, Network Rail and Arriva UK Bus.
Joel Briggs, Group Managing Director comments, “This has been an incredible year for Churchill with some fantastic new additions to the senior team, a string of awards including a prestigious Gold award from RoSPA, as well as the opening of our new Fleet Street office in central London. We are going from strength to strength and to be acknowledged as one of Britain’s Top Track 250 organisations and to be the only soft-multi-service solutions business listed is a fantastic achievement for the whole Churchill family.”
