Catering by Churchill Wins Scout Association Contract

Gilwell Park in Chingford, London is the home of the Scout Association, the world renowned organisation that is concerned with improving the lives of young people.

The extensive estate includes a head office building housing 200 employees; a training & event centre serving the corporate & wedding market, a multi-purpose activity centre and the White House building – home to meeting rooms, a restaurant, and customer bedrooms.

Also scattered around the grounds are 5 lodges; each capable of housing 50 young people from various organisations.

Following an exhaustive tendering process, Catering by Churchill served its first meal on Monday 5th January, a feat in itself considering that there was just a two week mobilisation window, and that was over Christmas!

Scope of Service:

The Catering by Churchill team are now delivering the following services;

  • Breakfast, lunch & dinner for White House customers
  • Lunch for Scouts Association staff
  • Conference delegate catering
  • Private dining services
  • Wedding breakfasts
  • Residential packages for lodge customers
  • Large scale event catering
