Churchill North East & Yorkshire named as finalists for IWFM Team of the Year

Churchill is pleased to confirm that its North East & Yorkshire team has been announced as a finalist in the IWFM Awards 2019 Team of the Year category.

Designed to showcase the delivery of best-in-class workplace and facilities management, the IWFM awards winner will be announced on 14^th October in London. The Team of the Year category specifically recognises the contribution the team makes to the business, clients and other stakeholders.

Through the judging process, the team is reviewed for evidence of: a vision and purpose aligned with corporate objectives; clearly defined team roles; mutual trust and values; effective communication both within the team and with internal and external stakeholders; a focus on collaboration and building team culture; development of individuals within the team as well as the team itself; strong leadership; and successful performance outcomes.

Led by Regional Manager, Phil Matis, the North East & Yorkshire team has significantly grown and almost doubled net profit, helping position Churchill Scotland and North as the number one performing area of the business. Key to its success and future ambitions is a strategy designed to push the business and the team forward in the right way. The team instils the values and behaviours to always seek a better way and to keep its people, whether within the business or clients, at the forefront.
