Churchill Secures a Two Year Extension at Middlesbrough College

November 8, 2017

Churchill was originally awarded the cleaning contract for Middlesbrough College in 2015. Now, after a contract review meeting, the College has been so impressed with the team’s efforts that they have granted a two year extension.

The contract is managed by Key Account Manager, Louise Rogers:

‘This is my flagship site, not far from my home town. I like to work closely with all our clients so that we can gauge exactly what they are looking for; this is reflected around the whole college as every department has a different need.  From time to time this can change as different events happen, but I think we have proven ourselves to be a flexible partner; Churchill and Middlesbrough College work as one team.’

After conducting several site surveys on levels of cleanliness and customer service, the exemplary results demonstrate the College’s decision to extend the contract.

‘The cleaning team have a challenging task every day, we have a massive and very busy college to clean within a short time slot for the core clean.  The team all put in their best efforts and always make the time to go above and beyond. I’m so proud of each and every one of them, they are an absolute pleasure to work with.’

Graham Andersen, Facilities Manager at Middlesbrough College, also presented a recognition certificate to Roy Doak, our cleaner who has worked at the college for many years. Roy has cleaned Queen Square Building by himself and, because the Queen Square staff have now moved into the new STEM facility, the Middlesbrough College staff wanted to thank him personally.

And the awards continued for Sharon, the Site Supervisor (right) and Sue her Deputy Supervisor (below left) – their hard work and commitment to the College and Churchill is phenomenal.

A massive well done to the outstanding team at the College – keep up the good work!
