Churchill’s First Clean Water Project Complete

July 13, 2016

Churchill is proud to have completed our first clean water project with the ethical bottled water company, Life Water.

Every bottle of life water sold funds the delivery of at least 1000 litres of clean drinking water to a community in need through their partner charity drop4drop. We are pleased to offer life water at a large number of our catering outlets in schools, in support of this project.

Our first project has provided immediate access to safe, clean drinking water to 1190 people in the Mamillapalle community in India via a drinking water bore-well. For more information about the project and how it is making a difference to people in Mamillapalle and other communities in need, and to see pictures of Churchill’s drinking water bore-well, please visit http://drop4drop.org/projects/mamillapalle/.

Jason Woodcock, Operations Director for Catering by Churchill, says: “Thank you to everyone who supported this project by purchasing a bottle of Life Water – just one makes a difference. We are proud to support such a worthy cause and are delighted to have completed our first project which will give water to communities in need.”
