Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough has been recognised once again in the annual ‘Loo of the Year Awards’ in two categories.
The Loo of the Year Awards competition began in 1987 with the aim of encouraging the highest possible standards in all types of ‘away from home’ or public toilets. They are run independently and are promoted by the British Toilet Association.
Both Queensgate Shopping Centre and the adjacent Bus Station received a platinum grade award, which improves on our achievement last year. Our service delivery to the centre has included cleaning, window cleaning, washroom services and pest control since September 2015.
Adam Payne, Key Account Manager, says: “I would like to thank our dedicated team as without them we would not have won these awards. We are thrilled to receive recognition for the high standards delivered at Queensgate year on year.”
We won our first Loo of the Year award in 2009 for the facilities at Springfield Shopping Centre, receiving a 5 star grading. Since 2011, Churchill sites have been recognised in the awards every year and in 2015, Queensgate Shopping Centre received a gold and a platinum award.
