We are looking for a Cleaning Duty Manager to join our transport division, overseeing Supervisors and Operatives for a large rail client. You will be supporting the Operations Manager by ensuring the sites are supervised efficiently and that the specified cleaning standards are maintained to a high level.

As a Cleaning Duty Manager, you will:

  • Ensure cleaners and supervisors are trained and records are maintained effectively including HSEQ training/machinery training/specification training.
  • Supervise employees to ensure specified cleaning and work standards are maintained at all times, highlighting any issues to the Account Manager
  • To carry out daily audits on sections of the site, record and give copies of reports to Account Lead weekly
  • Inform Account Lead immediately of any vacancies and provide support in appointing cleaners through interviews 
  • To complete tool box talks and staff meetings on a monthly basis

As a Cleaning Duty Manager, you’ll have:

  • A 5 year checkable work history
  • Awareness of COSHH, H&S and IOSH
  • A willingness to contribute to the development and implementation of the overall ethos/work/aims of Churchill
  • Ability to multi-task with a methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to adhere to manual handling and health and safety regulations as required

You will also be required to undergo pre-employment and ad hoc medical and drug tests.
