Our Chequers division are searching for a Head of Cleaning to provide the highest level of contact for our cleaning contracts. You will support a team of Regional and Operations Managers, driving performance and providing strategic solutions to produce maximum returns.

As Head of Cleaning, you’ll be:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for senior members of allocated contracts developing and maintaining relationships at senior level.
  • Maximising business opportunities within each client, identifying new service opportunities and/or operating practices and implementing these effectively.
  • Attending and leading monthly meetings with all senior points of contact, ensuring all necessary stakeholders are present and correct reporting is in place.
  • Undertaking site visits as required to assess standards and quality audit scores.
  • Taking ownership of financials, reviewing budgets including P&L analysis and ensuring the contracts are running in the most profitable manner.

As Head of Cleaning, you’ll have:

  • Previous senior management experience, desirably 5 years’ experience within a prestigious FM/leisure and/or B2B environment.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate with Director and MD level clients confidently and concisely.
  • Proven experience of managing managers and the ability to coach and mentor managers to reach their full potential
  • Ability to identify problems and make decisions, demonstrate initiative, and influence change in a fast-paced environment.
  • An “investigative” and “can do” approach and attitude to all tasks.
