Clean environments make people happier

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing Chequers division overseeing 2 housing association contracts comprising of residential and communal based sites.

You’ll be managing a team of cleaning operatives and groundsmen, ensuring their 100+ sites are thoroughly supervised and that the specified standards are met and maintained to a high level. No two days will be the same. When you’re dealing with people there’s never a dull moment, and you’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to support and develop your team.

As an Account Manager you’ll be:

  • Maintaining strong client relationship with high levels of satisfaction
  • Providing and maintaining the quality-of-service delivery
  • Managing, recruiting, and coaching local service teams
  • Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, audits as required by and to support the Operations Manager.
  • Be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to
  • Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings and account growth.

As an Account Manager you’ll have:

  • Demonstratable experience managing Cleaning or Grounds contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence at a senior level
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems
  • Ability to work to tight timescales
  • Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and IT literacy
