Cleaning is Churchill’s largest long-established business area and as a Cleaning Manager you will have the all-important duty of enhancing our clients’ spaces. You’ll be part of a friendly team, all working together to create outstandingly clean and safe environments that make our clients happy.
As Cleaning Manager, you will ensure all contract cleaning standards required by the client across the [Oasis Academy Leesbrook contract] are met and maintained. You will take an active role in training new team members to motivate and develop your team, completing regular audits and client meetings.
As Cleaning Manager you’ll be:
- Ensuring target staffing levels at customer sites are achieved and maintained at all times.
- Collating accurate payroll information for each contract site
- Training and managing site supervisors in Health & Safety
- Carrying out quality inspections and meetings with a customer or their representative.
- Recruiting cleaning staff liaising with Human Resources and Payroll, as appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate staff records to include holiday leave, sickness & absence.
- Adhering to all Health and Safety Legislation, as laid down by the Company.
As Cleaning Manager you’ll have:
- Management experience gained within the cleaning industry.
- Willingness to develop self through available/provided training.
- Experienced in providing exceptional customer service and building and maintaining relationships.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Able to train and coach employees both formally and informally.
- Excellent time management skills and methodical approach to work.
- Innovative and creative to ensure prompt solution to problems posed.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office package.
