Churchill awarded 5 Star RISQS rating

Churchill is delighted to announce it has passed a recent Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) audit with the highest mark available – a 5 Star Rating!

The RISQS audit is an annual audit that must be successfully completed to allow us to work on the Network Rail Infrastructure. It is also a critical requirement for a number of our transport clients. Therefore, it is important that we are able to demonstrate conformity to industry-wide and infrastructure requirements, through our robust management systems and operational controls. The Star Rating of the audit adds another level of complexity and competition, encouraging us to exceed standards to maintain the 5 Star Rating.

Sean Hawe, Head of Quality, said: “Obtaining a 5 Star Rating at the RISQS audit is always difficult to accomplish. However, we have great people and robust systems in place to ensure this is achievable. Thank you to everyone involved in the audit and to the Transport operational teams for continuing to operate at the high standards required for this audit.”

Churchill’s Transport portfolio includes Govia Thameslink (GTR), East Midlands Trains, Siemens, NEXUS, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport and Arriva.
