Churchill business support manager, Faye Durkin shortlisted for “Young Leader of the Year”

We’re pleased to see our business support manager Faye Durkin shortlisted in the Young Leader of the Year category at PFM Awards 2020.

Run in collaboration with the Emerging Workplace Leaders (EWL), the Young Leader of the Year category identifies and recognises the next generation leaders in the FM sector who have made an early impact in their careers.

Rising from administrator to supporting a 50-strong team in under four years, Faye boasts the kind of business and leadership skills that make her a shining star in the FM industry.

With business forecasting in her DNA, Faye has developed a suite of new tools, strategies and techniques that are helping to strengthen and grow Churchill’s business and service lines.

Advocating the mantra, ‘leadership should produce more leaders, not more followers’, Faye represents the incredibly talented cohort of women coming through as the next generation of FM leaders. She encourages this forward-thinking mentality throughout the busy team of 54 managers and three directors. She believes that this approach is crucial, not only for Churchill but for the wider FM industry.

Louisa Clarke, operations director for North East and Scotland, commented: “Faye’s support and leadership have been instrumental to the successful growth of our region and I couldn’t be happier to see her shortlisted for this important award.”

The winner will be announced on the 17th March 2021 at The Brewery, in London.

Good luck Faye!
