We’ve been reccomended for continued certification

As part of our ISO certification, we must undergo regular audits to ensure we maintain the certification. These surveillance audits for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 recently took place, and we are pleased to confirm the auditor has recommended us for continued certification.

A lot of work goes into these audits with involvement from lots of different members of our team, so we want to take this opportunity to thank and recognise everyone for their hard work.

Chris Williams, Group QHSE+S Director said: “ISO certification is incredibly important to us and underpins how Churchill does business. It is fundamental to our success and demonstrates to our colleagues, new and existing clients, that we take quality, safety and sustainability seriously.  It’s a great achievement and we strive to improve each year.”

The 11-day surveillance audit by the certification body ensures our quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems meet the ISO9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and ISO45001 Health and Safety Standards.

During the audit, the auditor visited various offices and operational sites across the Group to review QHSE management at each of these sites. This involved speaking with the operatives on site, reviewing on-site processes and client reporting, reviewing the site/office safety files to ensure correct completion, and reviewing operative training and competence. In addition to this, central QHSE policies and processes were also reviewed to ensure they meet the required standards.

There are many internal and external benefits to being ISO certified. One of those is that it demonstrates our commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental management. These management systems help ensure we meet our compliance obligations, improve our communication and engagement in these matters, and help us to continually improve the way we work. Externally, a large proportion of our client base requires us to be certified to these standards for us to work together, so they bring commercial and reputational benefits too.

Well done to all those involved. Without your commitment and hard work, this wouldn’t have been possible, and we should all be really proud of what has been achieved.
